Summer Loves

I've let you in on my love for my Saviour and I know I've talked a bit about my love for my children, but I think that it is time I show you some of my favourite moments so far this summer.   Admittedly, today has had some great moments, but this afternoon has been somewhat difficult, so I am posting this not so much for you, but me.  So here we go...

This is our, now, annual "Wes and Jae" sunset shot!  It was taken at Super Nana's cottage, on our last night.  These last two summers we have been given the opportunity to spend a full week at the cottage.  The first few times I didn't understand why Ryan loved this place so much.  After my time there I think I get it.  Yes sometimes it can be cold and/or rainy, but this cottage breeds love.  We had such an amazing week none of us wanted to come home.  I love this place, my kids and my hubby and my beloved Super Nana!

090.JPGOne of the sweetest nieces a woman could ask for!  This is my sweet "Q" (Susannah Lynn).  She and my Jae are only 3 months apart and I love it!!  Susie has just now begun to call me Auntie... and it is awesome :)  She is a little ham.  Always ready to show off something new she can do... not that she's showing off for me... I know its all for Wes (or Sessey).  I love you Susie Q!! This picture was taken at a birthday party for some dear friends:  Jessie, Julia and Marky (Julia's hubby-to-be).  It was a great day.  I have so many cute pictures of the kids playing in the little pool and Wes trying to be just like Will at the punching bag!

My two favourite boys!!!  This summer we have been able to have so much fun swimming.  My parents have a pool and we've been taking full advantage!  Wes is swimming with only a pool noodle and Jae is actually venturing in without screaming everytime :)  She was even blowing bubbles a week ago!  I love to be in the water so I am hoping that they will learn to love it too.

So there you have it, a sampling of my favourite summer moments.  Other favourite moments include: a trip to the Elmvale Zoo (if you haven't gone, you should!), Farmer's Market Fridays with Stace and the girls, tending to the gardens, car wash days, library days and walks to the park.  Our days are full and thanks be to God for it all!!
